Using
GROUP ADD
Select: UTILITIES>GROUP ADD
This option provides a powerful tool by allowing
a convenient, time-saving method for entering a series of coins. For
example, you might possess a nearly complete collection of Lincoln
head cents. More than likely, these coins are of the same condition.
Use the Group Add feature to enter these coins quickly as a set, rather
than singly.
After selecting Group Add from the
Utilities menu, verify that you wish to use this option by clicking
Yes. Select a denomination and then enter a beginning and
ending year to define a range of coins to be entered. You are then
prompted to provide information for all of the fields that normally
appear in the Add mode, except for Total Cost and Total Value.
The information entered in Group Add will
appear on the record of every coin in the selected group. The Total
Value is computed for each coin based on its condition. Total Cost
can be recorded one of three ways: as Zero, as Face Value, or equal
to the current market value.
After completing your entries, click Save
to create all of the records in that series.
